A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her herd and sales of organic milk.

Mirgul's story

Mirgul successfully repaid her loan, she is very grateful to Kiva and all who helped her with financing. She is with her youngest son in the photo. Mirgul’s farm today has 6 cows, 30 sheep, a horse, and a land share of 0.92 hectares on which she grows potatoes. To further develop her business, Mirgul again applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 110,000 KGS to purchase dairy cows, to increase the number of livestock and the volume of organic milk sales. She plans to invest the income from the loan into the expansion of her farm, and partly to save for a better future for her children.
