A loan of $725 helped buying merchandise (wine).

Maribel's story

Maribel is 32 years and lives with her partner and her three children in their own home.

She is very dedicated to her job since the earnings go towards the education of her children, who she would like to see become professionals. Maribel travels constantly to the city of Ica (5 hours from the area where she lives) to buy the wine that she sells, since this region is known for its high quality wine. She buys wine by the gallon, on wholesale, and then sells it buy the bottle for the highest profit.

In the future she would like to have her own large liquor store and have staff to help her transport the merchandise since traveling alone is exhausting. In addition to selling wine, she is a weaver, making beautiful clothes to order. Through these efforts she is working hard to achieve her goal to become a successful micro-entrepreneur.

This will be her sixth loan with MFP and she hopes to be punctual with her payments like with her previous loans. With the loan she will travel to Ica to buy more wine for her business.
