A loan helped to buy more goods for her home-based food production business.

Fadia's story

Fadia is a 32-year-old Syrian mother with four children in school. She left Syria in 2013 with her family to protect them from war. Fadia has been going through a lot of challenges since the day she lost her husband, as she is now responsible for taking care of her children from all aspects.

To take care of her children, Fadia started a home-based business where she prepares and sells traditional food. She is an ambitious woman and wants to keep supporting her business as it’s the main source of income for her and her family. But she lacks the financial ability to get more goods, so she decided to ask for a 500 JOD loan to do so. Fadia hopes that she can maintain an independent home for her children.

This loan is special because:

It gives opportunity to Syrian refugees who have fled the war in Syria.
