A loan of $550 helped increase merchandise.

Vilma's story

Vilma is a hard-working, 47 year old woman. She lives with her two daughters in her own house.

For eight years she has been selling various household items. She sells everything new that she can find. This is the trait that gives her the advantage over the other sellers. Vilma travels almost three hours to the center of the city to visit one of the largest markets in order to get her merchandise.

That is how she stocks up on the biggest variety and the best quality she can find. She previously sold from a stand she had on a block in the area where she lives. It is going very well for her because in addition to her merchandise, her ability with words and her great power to persuade have made her a great saleswoman. That makes her very happy with her work. In the future she hopes to have a store in her house or in a market where she can better display her items.

This is her fourth loan with MFP. She has always been very punctual with all of her payments. She will use the money she is now requesting to buy a greater quantity of merchandise for the school season. That is when she will have greater sales.
