A loan of $550 helped to buy fertilizers for his corn crops.

Alfonso's story

Alfonso, 60, lives with his family in the Pampa La Aviación sector of Chóchope district, located an hour and a half from the city of Chiclayo.

He has been a farmer since very young; he owns his own, two-hectare, field where he grows grains. He planted corn two weeks ago and hopes that the corn harvest will produce income to help the family get ahead. Alfonso, therefore, puts all his efforts into a successful harvest.

This is the right time, then, to apply fertilizers and other nutrients to the crop so that it will develop under the right conditions for optimal production. He is, therefore, requesting a loan, for the first time, from Edpyme Alternativa. He needs 1500 new soles to reach his objective.

Alfonso is a responsible father who is very dedicated to his family; his greatest wish is to provide them with a better quality of life. He is a known and respected person in his community.
