Judith's Group's story

Pictured above is Judith, who is often described as an extremely trustworthy person. She is 58 years old and has 5 children. As a group leader, she is representing 7 farmers in Kakamega B (North) District, Kenya.

Judith is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund because this means that she can access quality training and acquire new farming methods, which is why she decided to join in the first place. Judith says that she is happy to have made that decision because, since she first joined in 2015, she has been able to consistently feed her family, which has improved her day-to-day life significantly. Judith will use the profits from this season to save more money for the future.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant 2 acres. The group will also receive 2 solar lights.

In this group: Judith, Clementina, Robai, Eladquine, Resila, Stephen, Wilfridah

This loan is special because:

It supports smallholder farmers to purchase seeds and solar lanterns.
