A loan of $2,700 helped a member to start selling different drinks like beers.


Kaseso Group's story

Pilly Y., age 36, is married with two children ages 12 and 4 years. She has a general store business which started 6 years ago. She works from 6am to 10pm daily and she is able to make monthly profits of about $148.

This will be Pilly’s 1st loan from Tujijenge, Tanzania. She hopes for a loan to start selling drinks like beers.

Pilly will share this loan with her loan Group Kosese which totals 15 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable in paying back the loan.
