Ngeang's story

Ngeang T. Y., 53, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for fishing and palm products. She and her husband sell various kinds of groceries on the boat for a gross income of about USD 25 per day. T. Y. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase more groceries to expand her current business. In the future, she would like to use any additional profits to fix her house. This is her third loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
