A loan helped a member to stock up on beauty products, soaps, oils, etc.

Apk/Pme Group's story

Ms. Suzanne is a client of the microfinance institution HEKIMA and presides over the solidarity group named “APK/PME”; she is 57 and a widow with ten children, who are all schooled.

A vendor of various beauty products, she started this enterprise in 2014 with startup funds from her now-deceased husband. Later on, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her enterprise and has been working progressively since then.

With this new loan, she will stock up on beauty products, soaps, oils, etc., in bulk. And this will bolster her initial capital. The business challenges are related to the many state taxes and to thieves at night.

She would like her children to go to school. So, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash.

In this group: Daniel, Suzanne, Herve, Gustave, Faustin
