A loan helped a member to buy merchandise to stock her store, such as rice, beans, provisions, bread, milk, butter, flour, salt, sugar, etc.

La Bendicion : Grupo 3 Group's story

Ilna is a Hatian immigrant who came to the Dominican Republic ten years ago seeking better living conditions. She came with her aunt to work; she met her husband, had children, and started a business.

Ilna began selling gasoline, but this business did not provide much profit, so she decided to change and set up a store where she sells rice, beans, provisions, bread, milk, butter, flour, salt, sugar, and other items. She has had this business for four years and generates income that helps provide for her family.

Ilna was not able to finish school; she only reached the eighth grade, but this has not stopped her from working and getting her family ahead.

Ilna requests this loan to buy new merchandise and to stock her business.

Thanks for supporting La Bendicion: Grupo 3.
