A loan helped to buy additional livestock as an investment in her business.

Gulmira's story

Gulmira has successfully paid off her previous loan. She would like to thank Kiva and everyone who helped fund her.

She has been raising animals since 2000 as the primary income for her family. Thanks to her hard work, her farm currently has 3 cows, 20 sheep, and 2 horses. In order to grow her farm further, Gulmira has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock, in order to increase her income from raising livestock. The income from the loan will allow her to develop her business, increase her profits, and improve her family's well-being.

Translated from Russian by Kiva volunteer Eugenia Tietz-Sokolskaya.

This loan is special because:

The borrower receives a lower interest rate to fund their agriculture activities.
