Jobel is a 41-year-old married man with three children. His oldest child is only nine years old, so he works hard to save for their future. He says school fees keep increasing. In 1994, Jobel started his Disco Mobile Rental. He bought speakers and sound systems that he rents to other municipalities during fiestas and other events. From his income and hard work, he was able to start his own welding shop that he hopes to expand upon.
Jobel has been a member of Community Economic Ventures, Inc. since 2007. He said that his previous loans were helpful in improving his business. He is now requesting a loan Php 50,000. He will use this loan to buy disco light and speakers. He also plans to buy a welding machine, tools and an oxygen tank.
