A loan helped a member to stock up on used shoes in bulk which will reinforce her initial capital investment.

Kunatumaini Group's story

Judith is a client of Hekima IMF and presides over the "Kunatumani" banc villageoise. She is married, 34 years old, and the mother of six children whom are all in school. Her partner is a humanitarian agent.

She is a used shoe saleswoman, and began this business three years ago with the start-up funds received from her husband. Later on, she became involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which time she steadily progressed. With this new loan, she will stock up on used shoes in bulk which will reinforce her initial capital stock. The challenge her business faces relates to taxes and instability of U.S. dollars.

She would like her children to attend school and she would also like to feed her family. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to non-bankable business owners.

The clients prefer to be pictured with their children in the photo.
