Nilo's story

Nilo, 48, lives with his partner and two children in the rural community of Pampasacha, Pinto Recodo, Lamas, Peru. He has been growing cocoa for five years and diversifies his income raising barnyard animals and growing bananas.

Nilo will invest the loan in pruning his cocoa crop with the aim of increasing and improving product quality. With the income he obtains he wants to renovate his home.

This is his fifth Norandino loan which demonstrates how responsible he is as a borrower.
