A loan helped a member to buy fabric, shoes and chicks for fattening.

Kd_02 Sadio Group's story

The ‘banc villageois’ to which this group of 7 members belongs, was created in January 1998. It includes women who, for the majority, have acquired solid experience in small trading which is their main activity. They share the values of solidarity and help each other.

Sadio (standing on the far right with her hand raised) is the representative of the group. She is a widow and the mother of 8 children, 4 of whom are boys.

She is active in a small business (selling fabric, shoes and raising chicks).

This new loan will allow her to buy fabric, shoes and chicks which she will fatten up to re-sell them after 2 months.
With the profits, she plans to save and improve the living conditions of her family.

In this group: Sadio , Coumba Coly, Kadiatou , Sire , Astelle , Malado Haby, Kadiatou
