Malia's story

Meet Malia. She is 35 years old and married with six children. They live in their own home. Four of her children are attending school, while two are still under age and are staying at home with her.

Malia owns and operate three businesses which are a flea market, a handicraft business and growing crops. Her husband takes full responsibility for their plantation and Malia does the marketing of the crops. She runs her flea market on Saturday every week at the local market place. For her handicraft business, she makes kiekie and also waist string from raw materials of nature. They have been running these businesses since they got married.
