A loan helped to buy cattle fodder and livestock, to increase her livestock-breeding income.

Asilbu's story

Asilbu is successfully repaying her previous loan, and is very grateful to Kiva and to all who helped her with that financing. Her farm presently consists of eight cows, 60 sheep, five horses, and 1.5 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows wheat.

In order to develop her business further, Asilbu has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock fodder and more livestock, which will increase her livestock-rearing income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into further developing her farm by increasing its headcount, while using part of it to buy a vehicle for her son.
