A loan helped to continue with my studies in industrial electronics in Senati.

Jestabay Antonio's story

Jestabay is a young student who lives with his sister and mother, who creates clothing models. Currently, he is the only member of the family who studies. The career that he is passionate about is industrial electronics. Since his father is an electrical technician, his passion for the career was born.

During the day, he studies eight hours in SENATI from Monday to Friday and two hours at home. He is in the second cycle of the course with four cycles remaining.

Upon finishing the course, he would like to work in an international company in which he can put into practice all that he has learned and then form his own company.

He will use the loan to pay for his studies as he has not been able to pay. His greatest dream is to be an electrical engineer, to work overseas, and to be able to help his family.

His limited financial solvency is an obstacle to his professional development. For that reason, he appeals to KIVA. He wants to dedicate a few words to KIVA: " I would be grateful to all the people around the world who will help me continue with my studies and give an opportunity to a student who will demonstrate not only in qualifications but also in worker development the professional quality that he arrived at thanks to all of you".

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Rhonda Sarnoff.
