Terbish's story

Terbish is 34 years old and lives with her husband and daughter in Arhangai province, Mongolia. She and her family live together in a traditional Mongolian nomadic housing tent called a ger. They have been living together in their current home for 20 years. Terbish operates a mobile dairy trading business in her town. She sells a variety of dairy products such as curds, milk and other products.

Terbish started her business in 2005 with working capital of 500,000 tugrugs (~ 352 USD). After years of successful operations she has managed to increase her working capital to a level exceeding 3,000,000 tugrugs (~ 2111 USD) today. Her earnings have enabled her to buy a car which has proven useful in transporting her products and expanding her customer base. She is a very hardworking and open-minded person.
