Primitiva's story

Primitiva belongs to the communal bank “Reyna D. los Ángeles”. She is from Urubamba. She is 67 years old and has nine children. She is a responsible mother who is always looking for opportunities to get ahead and with her determination give a better furture to her younger children.

Primitiva sells vegetables, fruit and white corn. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays she takes her products to the Huancaro market in Cuzco. This member tells us that she has regular customers who order white corn from her because her product is of good quality and her customers are happy with the products they buy from her. She has been at this business for several years and it has gone well for her thanks to the dedication she puts into her work.

Primitiva needs the loan to buy fruit such as grapes and peaches.
