Betty's story

Betty is a hardworking single mother of five children, four of whom attend school in Masindi, Uganda. She owns and operates a pharmacy to earn a living. Thirteen years ago, her profession as a nurse inspired her to open her business. She is constrained by the high taxes levied on drugs.
