A loan helped to buy a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil and rake for her business.

Gauula's story

Gauula is a 22 year old single lady. She runs a business of selling vegetables (cabbage, cucumber) in her community to earn a living. She has 3 years experience with this business. Gauula is a samoan citizen who works very hard to satisfy her customers with her fresh vegetables. Every day, except for Saturday and Sunday, she delivers her vegetables to villages using a wheelbarrow. She also believes that using a wheelbarrow to deliver her goods is also making her strong, happy and healthy. Gauula needs a loan to purchase more equipment (water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil, rake) to help take her business to the next level. Her dream is to one day earn enough to buy her own vehicle to help her run the business and help her family. She became a member of SPBD in 2016.
