A loan of $725 helped buy fertilizer, wood, and rent a tractor.

Félix's story

Félix is 34, and he lives with his mother and his two children in his own house. Since his childhood he has been tied to farm work. He plants different products like potatoes, corn, and carrots.

He is currently doing this work as an inheritance that his parents left him. He contracts field workers to help speed up the planting and harvesting process. He sells his natural products according to the conditions. It could be that he takes them directly to the market himself, or that buyers purchase all of his crops.

At the same time he also does construction projects. This gives him extra income while he patiently waits for harvest time to sell his production. In the future he plans to improve his farming activity. He will buy machinery to work with greater comfort in less time.

This is his third loan, and he promises to be very responsible about making his payments. Also, he is grateful to all of the people that make the loan possible because it allows him to continue working and looking for a better future. Félix will use the requested money to buy several bags of fertilizer. He will also pay to rent a tractor for planting. With the other part of the money he will buy wood for his business of construction projects.
