A loan of $375 helped invest in a market stall.

Lito Salome's story

Sr. Lito is 33 years old. He and his live-in partner have a daughter of school age. His partner works seasonally as a field worker on agricultural properties. Sr. Lito now relies on income from two motorcycle taxis; he uses one for his work and rents the other one. They have also recently acquired a stall in the Tinguiña market, where his partner will sell vegetables. He and his family live in the house of his in-laws. They have many goals. One of them is to have a business selling vegetables. With the money that he is seeking, they will invest in their market stall business.
