Danaya Group's story

Moussa, a Malian, is 34 years old. He is married and the father of 4 children, one of whom attends school. His children are aged between 1 and 10 years old. Moussa did not go to school. He has been fattening livestock for 6 years. His goal is to develop and expand his farming business so that it becomes his principal source of income. He is holding onto the ox in the photo.

He is taking out a loan with RMCR in order to buy cattle and rams. He gets his supplies in the neighbouring villages and sells the livestock at the local market. After he makes his sales he can make up to 60,000 FCFA in profit. This profit enables him to take care of his children's healthcare, education, and food needs. Moussa is thriving and has not had any loan problems with RMCR.

In the future, Moussa would like to obtain more funds so that he can develop his fattening business and satisfy both his customers' needs and those of his family.
