San Ramon Group's story

The San Ramon communal bank is a long-standing group made up of 19 women with a common goal: to help improve their families’ living situations. To that end, each of them has a goal that she set for herself in the business plan that she is carrying out.

One of the members, Bartola, has a well-stocked grocery store adjoining a pre-paid cell phone card store. She is rather enterprising and very hard-working. She is grateful to be a member of the communal bank since she saw it as an opportunity for training which would enable her to continue providing her loved ones a higher quality of life.

Bartola is asking for this loan in order to purchase a variety of items for her grocery store such as vegetables, baked goods, meat and dairy products. She is grateful for the opportunity to get training and to grow as she has been doing.

Please note that the children in the photo are the daughters of the members of the communal bank who are signing this loan.

In this group: Bartola, Simona, Maria, Mariana, Beatriz, Norma, Nelva, Nery, Benigna, Miguela, Blanca, Zulma, Ubalda, Lourdes, Blanca, Silvia, Adelaida, Vidalina, Benita
