Meoun M., age 59, is married and resides with his four children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. Meoun and his wife are engaged in a business buying mangoes for sale, earning an income of $3 each per day to help cover the family's expenses. Two of their children are employed at a local garment factory, earning an income of $2 each per day to partly assist the family’s expense. Their standard of living has improved since Meoun and his wife started this business, and he is now requesting a loan of $800 to purchase motorbike repair equipment to start a new business to generate a better income. This will be his first loan from CREDIT, partnered with Kiva.
