Dem C., age 42, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Daoun Keo District, Takeo province, Cambodia. She and her husband are in the business of selling chickens and ducks, earning a gross income of about USD 60 per day to help cover the family expenses. Their standard of living has been improved since they have started this business. C. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase more chickens and ducks for sale. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a Kiva partner.
