A loan of $425 helped ingredients.

Reyna Ester's story

Reyna has been making and selling donuts for the past seven years. She has done a good job managing her business, and has grown it into a small company. She has two employees who help her make her products and one gentleman who delivers them. Her specialty is cherry donuts. She also makes different sizes of sugar donuts and éclairs. All are delicious.

Reyna has contracts with customers to whom she delivers her entire production, so there is no need for her to go out and sell. Some of her clients own kiosks in schools within the city.

She lives with her domestic partner who works as a security guard. They have had five children, two of which are married and on their own, and two others work. They only need to support their daughter.

Reyna will use the money from this loan to buy flour, lard, sugar, chocolate, eggs, margarine, salt, and yeast.
