04_Ngothie Group's story

This banc villageois was created in December 2010, bringing together very energetic and united women who are mainly in commerce and animal fattening. AMY, standing to the right in the photo with her hand raised, is a 30-year-old married mother of four, two of whom are girls. She is the star borrower. She has been doing retail sales of vegetables for years. She goes to the capital to buy her merchandise that she then sells locally. She plans to buy sacks of cabbages, cassava, and carrots to sell at reasonable prices in her area. With the profits she will make, she foresees coming to the aid of her husband with the daily expenses and adding to her savings.
