Mark's story

I grew up in the village of North Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. A place so small they couldn't call it an actual town. We didn't have much as kids so we had to make do with what little we had. Thank god for cardboard boxes and creativity! My father was a steelworker. My mother worked at a plant owned by B&W in Parks Township, PA. This company mishandled radioactive materials and many people in our area developed cancer. My grandfather died from cancer. My 85 year old mother is a breast cancer survivor. I remember doing whatever I could to bring a smile to my family's faces when we were dealing with pain. Sing, dance, write music, perform, entertain. My venue was named the Radioactive Events Center to honor the memory of all of the lives affected by this tragedy. I have been entertaining since my childhood. Today I'm a steelworker like my Dad. I have invested in myself and our business. My life is dedicated to helping others discover their abilities and reach their dreams.
