Djiguisseme Group's story

The women of the Djiguisseme Group, all married, are on average 29 years old and have 3 children. They all live in traditional extended families in Konobougou, a sub-prefecture of Barouéli in the Ségou region (fourth administrative district in the Republic of Mali).

They met through family connections and sell clothing, spices and miscellaneous goods.
These women of the Djiguisseme Group *are requesting their loan with from Soro Yiriwaso* which will be used to buy packages of edible spices, clothing and miscellaneous goods.

They get their clothing supplies in Burkina Faso, and their spices and other goods in or near Konobougou. They conduct their sales in the Konobougou and Bamako markets, for cash, *retail* and credit, to a client base made up of both women and men.

They expect to achieve an average monthly profit of XOF 35,000 each, which will be used for the daily expenses of the family. The rest will be reinvested in the business.
