A loan helped to buy flour, rice, oils, soft drinks, grains, pastries, and household cleaning products.

Orlando Andres's story

Orlando Andres is a 22-year-old microentrepreneur living in the municipality of Soledad.

He started his own mini-store business, an activity that has been an excellent opportunity for growth and earning an additional income. This entrepreneur learned this activity thanks to his mother who is a merchant. He offers basic staples at his store and his home including sweets, soft drinks, bottled juices, tubers, vegetables, and dairy products. He is available to his customers from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Orlando gets up every day in the hope of being able to provide his family a better lifestyle and that is why he works hard to reach that goal.

Orlando wants to increase his inventory and so his sales, which is why he is currently applying for his first Kiva loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. He will use the funds to buy flour, rice, oils, soft drinks, grains, pastries, and household cleaning products.

His business goal is to build up his working capital and increase his sales. Support his business loan, it will be a success!
