Burulsun's story

Burulsun, 61, a widow and has 5 children. She has completed her secondary education. She understands agricultural technologies and she knows how to invest money appropriately.

Burulsun has been engaged in animal husbandry as the main income for her family since 1983. Thanks to her hard work, her farm currently has 3 cows, 8 sheep, a horse and 1.71 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows alfalfa. In order to expand her farm,

Burulsun has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 soms (KGS) for the purchase of livestock in order to increase income from livestock raising.

Burulsun plans to invest the income from the loan in the further development of her farm, to repair her house and to help with the marriages of her sons.
