Abdul's story

Abdul is a 61-year-old Mozambican man. He is married, and he lives with his wife and their six lovely children.

Abdul is a well-known producer of seeds in his village. He grows grain seeds like maize, peanuts, beans, and soy. Thanks to this activity, he is able to sustain his family as well as send his children to school.

Abdul intends to increase his seed production in order to supply to a regular market in his community. Therefore, Abdul needs to acquire more equipment to produce and sell a huge quantity of seeds.

Since he does not have enough money to buy the equipment, Abdul is requesting a Kiva loan to buy a plow machine to produce more seeds to sell, in order to increase his family income.
