Heidi Marisela's story

Heidi, 34, attended school through ninth grade. She is married and her husband works at a dairy company. She has two children, one of whom is in school.

Heidi has been raising pigs and chickens for 10 years. She learned this trade from her parents as a young girl. She also grows corn and beans with the help of her sisters and father. Another source of income for her is selling tortillas.

She will use the loan to buy pigs and feed to fatten and sell them. Heidi has had support from previous loans and has been very responsible.

Heidi dreams of growing her farm and providing her children with a good academic education.
