A loan helped to buy lipsticks, perfumes, face masks, deodorants, skin creams, and other products.

Norma Lucrecia's story

Norma is 55 years old and has been selling cosmetics for four years. She is a loving, hard-working, and honest person. She began her business after working as a cashier in a supermarket. When she received from her old position she invested in buying cosmetics, as she saw an announcement in the newspaper and saw it would be a way to earn money. It was helpful that she could sell from her home and in this way be able to take care of her children. Her greatest supporters are her husband and children, who help her with certain products in the house when her customers arrive.

She has opted for a loan from Kiva through MiCrédito which she plans to use to buy lipsticks, perfumes, face masks, deodorants, skin creams, and other products. Then she can offer a greater variety of products to her customers. In the near future, Norma wants to have her own store where she can distribute the products with greater ease.
