Marcialisa's story

Marcialisa is from the village of Silucap, Liloy. She is 33 years old, is married, and has two school-aged children.

Marcialisa owns and operates a business raising pigs for sale. She has been engaged in her business for over four years and earns approximately 2,000 PHP a month.

In 2009, Marcialisa joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan of 5,000 PHP from PMPC. This previous loan was used to to purchase pig feed and other supplies.

Marcialisa is requesting a new loan of 7,000 PHP which will again be used to purchase pig feed and other supplies. This loan will be her 3rd from PMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
