A loan of $725 helped purchase merchandise to increase her business.

Carmen Rosa's story

Carmen Rosa is a 28 year old mother who lives with her husband in the community of Ciudad de Dios in San José District, Lambayeque Province, which is located 20 minutes away from the city of Chiclayo.

For more than five years she has been selling basic necessities, groceries, and candy from a store that she set up in a space in her home. This business provides the necessary resources for her to get ahead because this is the best way she knows how. Carmen tries to provide her customers with quality products and friendly service.

This business is also important to her neighbors because it provides them with daily products that they normally would not have at their disposal. Since her community is in a remote area far from the district market, the demand for her products is stable. Carmen Rosa is requesting her first loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 2000 PEN in order to buy more products to increase her business. She is an enterprising young woman who always attempts to give her best in all of her activities. Her neighbors and acquaintances consider her to be a responsible and trustworthy person.
