A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her number of cattle and organic milk sales.

Svetlana's story

Svetlana is 52 years old and married with one son. She has a secondary-level education and she is a hardworking, driven and enterprising person. She has a good understanding of agricultural technology and she knows how to invest funds effectively. Svetlana has been raising livestock and growing crops since 1989, and this is her family's primary source of income. She breeds dairy cows, sheep, pigs and chickens, as well as keeping bees.

Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to business, Svetlana now has 3 cows, 3 sheep and 33 colonies of bees on her farm, as well as a 2.5-hectare plot of land where she grows potatoes, barley and alfalfa.

In order to further develop her business, Svetlana has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 87,000 som. She will use the money to buy dairy cows to increase her organic milk sales and income from cattle breeding. Svetlana plans to invest the profit from the loan in buying coal for the winter.
