A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as seeds and fertilizer, to improve her crop farm.

Agnes's story

The lovely woman you see in this photo is Agnes, a 67-year-old mom. She is from a remote village in the Thika area of Kenya. She is a very hardworking person.

Thanks to her daily efforts, she has managed to give her family a good start by providing them with a good quality life. Her family members are very supportive in marketing their produce. The milk she produces is sold locally to various milk dealers, thereby earning her profits. Despite the challenges she faces as a woman, Agnes has always remained focused on her goals.

Though she dearly loves crop farming, her farm is at risk of attack by crop pests and diseases. To a poor rural farmer, treatment of crop diseases requires an increase in the total operational costs to the extent that, in most cases, the amount of capital invested to produce a desired yield surpasses the output harvested. The remedy is to use certified seeds that are resistant to pests and diseases.

Agnes is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs, such as seeds and fertilizer, to improve her corn farm. Your loan will enable her to improve her corn crop production through the use of quality farm inputs. Through this investment, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers, leading to more profits.

Kindly lend to her during this last phase of 2019!

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals, farm inputs and farming equipment.
