A loan helped a member to stock up on wholesale batteries to strengthen her initial capital.

Mwito Group's story

Antoinette is a client of IMF Hekima and chairs the banc villageois "Mwito" group. She is married, 45 years old, and mother of six children, five of whom attend school and one of whom is younger. Her partner is a state agent.

She sells various items in her store. She started this business in 2016 with start-up funds received from her husband. Later, she got involved in the Hekima program to support her business, which she has evolved gradually. With this new loan, she will stock up on wholesale batteries to strengthen her initial capital. The main challenge of her business is the instability of exchange rates.

She would like for her children to attend school and to grow her business. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable entrepreneurs.

One of the clients prefers to be with her baby in the photo.
