A loan of $575 helps to buy a sack of flour, a sack of sugar, yeast, a fry pan, a wooden spoon, and a bottle of vegetable oil.

Vaivao's story

Vaivao is a 40-year-old mother with four children. She runs and operates a small business of selling pancake, buns, and pork cakes in her community to earn a living. She has been doing this for more than four years.

Vaivao has requested a loan to buy a sack of flour, a sack of sugar, yeast, a fry pan, a wooden spoon, and a bottle of vegetable oil to assist her to run the business. She hopes to use her profit to build a small bakery store in the near future and provide for her children's education. Vaivao became a member of SPBD in 2018.
