Connie's story

Connie, aged 42, is married with three children and they live in a community in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands. For the past year, to earn a living, she has owned and operated a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits and canned foods in her community.

Connie joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services She has now requested a loan to buy additional rice, sugar, noodles, biscuits and canned foods to increase her supplies and to assist her in running her business. This is her first loan.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and to improve her business.
