Kasfa is a divorced woman with three children who attend school. She lives in Mulago but works in the Owino market, where she sells second-hand clothes six days per week. She has been in this business for 20 years and has no other source of income. With the UGX 1,000,000 loan, she hopes to purchase more second-hand clothing for sale. She owns a four-room house, which she shares with four people. Her house does not have electricity or piped water. She does not care for additional family members. Her greatest expenses are food and medication. Kasfa hopes to build her own house someday.
