Aida's story

Aida is a 55-year-old Lebanese widowed woman and mother of five children, one of whom is still attending school. After the death of her husband, she became the sole income provider in the family. She took on all the responsibilities to ensure a good standard of living for her kids.

She started her own business in 2014. She opened a small bakery in her town where she produces and sells delicious homemade pastry and bread. She is very well known in her town, she succeeded in attracting a good number of customers from different areas.

Today, she is requesting a loan from Kiva's partner Vitas s.a.l. to buy raw materials such olives, flour, vegetables, jams, chocolate…. She said that this loan will surely help her to improve her business and be able to ensure to her children a good way of living.
