A loan of $625 helped buy charcoal.

Akoua's story

Married and mother of two children, this woman lives with her family in the Attiégou neighborhood of Lomé. In 2005 she started a business retailing charcoal to contribute to household expenses. After four years’ experience she learned to manage the process well, but at the beginning of the rainy season she lost part of her merchandise to the weather.

She wants to resupply her stock and is requesting a loan from WAGES to buy 25 bags of charcoal.
