Gulkayir's story

Gulkayir is 45 years old, married and has 3 children. She has a high school education and works as a teacher at the local school. She knows the technology of running a farming business and is able to use resources appropriately.

As an additional source of income for her family, Gulkayir has been engaged in animal husbandry since 2006. Thanks to Gulkayir's tireless work, her farm today has four cows and 44 sheep.

Gulkayir applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to repair a barn and buy more livestock, with the goal of increasing her income from livestock breeding. Gulkayir plans to reinvest the proceeds from the loan into further development of her farm by increasing her livestock headcount.
