A loan helped a member to stock up on pagnes in bulk to replenish her initial supply.

Arome Group's story

Madame Grace is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and president of the Arome banque villageoise. Married, 41 years old, and mother of five children who are all in school, her spouse is a pilot.

She sells pagnes and she started her business eight years ago with startup funding received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima's loan program to support her activities. With a new loan, she is going to stock up on pagnes in bulk to replenish her initial supply. In her business, she faces the challenge of fraudulent pagne sellers that are in the street and in all areas.

She would like to ensure her children's schooling and feed her family. In closing, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to those who are not able to use traditional banks.
