A loan helped to pay for weeding and pruning his cacao trees.

Misael's story

Misael, 46, lives with his wife and their two children in Lamas, San Martin, Peru. There, he works in agriculture, especially growing cacao, while diversifying his income source by raising barnyard animals and growing corn and beans. Misael will use his third loan to pay for weeding and pruning his cacao trees to improve the quality of his product which he will harvest next season. This will generate income to pay his children's school feeds, providing them with a better education.
